is an architect from the universidad pontificia bolivariana of medellin, colombia. he started his own architectural practice in 1990. since then, his projects have participated and been selected in numerous architecture biennals in latin america, receiving awards and recognition in colombia and abroad. has lectured in italy, united states, el salvador, panama and argentina among others. his work has been published in the phaidon atlas of world architecture and in international journals like arquine, summa, 30-60 and wallpaper. has been chosen 3 times by the colombian journals semana and cambio 16 as part of the most important group of national architects. one of the important characteristics of his work is it’s high quality of constructive technique. this has been recognized by the marble architecture awards 2000, the premio granitos y marmoles to excellence in laminated stone and the concrete excellence award granted by asocreto. felipe has taught architecture in colombia and argentina.
